Oil and Gas Prices Falling.

As Featured On Ezine Articles

In the last several weeks we have seen the oil and gas prices falling, and falling rather significantly. Does this change or need to conserve, or to find alternative sources of energy? No, the only thing that has changed is our current prices. The same countries that would use oil as an economical weapon against us are still there. My personal belief is that part of the reason for the decline in the price of oil and the price of gas is from conservation, and the second part is the oil producers, heard all the campaign speeches on oil Independence coming from our politicians. If the United States became energy independent, the oil producing countries would lose a great deal of revenue, about 700 billion a year, and would lose the only weapon that they could use against us, that has a low degree of probability that we would use military force against them.
We have all heard of OPEC, and recently Russia has been attempting to start a cartel of their own. These groups of Oil Producing Nations, set the price, and the amount of oil that they will sell. They would use this to their advantage both economically and politically. That is why I believe that they have orchestrated the reduction in the price of oil, to take away the will of the people to become energy independent, give our politicians a way out and keep our domestic supply from increasing, as the cost of bring the oil to market would increase and the resale value would decrease, it would not be profitable for the United States to drill and bring new oil into our supply system. In a capitalist market the profitability is the reason company's expend money, to make more money.

In my opinion, we need to continue our efforts to increase OUR domestic oil supply, invest in the technology for alternative fuels, nuclear, Geo thermal, wind and wave alternatives, Hydrogen and to conserve. All of these we have too a small degree at this time, but are still in the process of making them economical. New vehicles that operate on on a hydrogen fuel cell are now being produced. The vehicles are small, the fuel cell is limited, and that limits the distance that can be traveled before refueling. The hydrogen gas pumps are also severally restricted at this time, but in time these minor set backs will be overcome. It can be done in several years if the country and individuals have the will and vision to make it happen. With that said, look at the flex fuel vehicles we have now. How many flex-fuel pumps are there? In the area that I live in, central coast in California, I don't know of any gas stations that offer the flex fuel.
That is why hydrogen and oxygen additive systems, or better known as Water4Gas, is still an important and economical way for us to continue to conserve energy and reduce our fuel costs even more.
If you want to see the current state of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, go to http://ww.hydrogencarsnow.com there are a lot of different types of vehicles and a pretty good article that discusses the hydrogen fueled vehicles and infrastructure surrounding it.
